First training drill of this month for the Ancram Fire Company. Search and rescue was the topic, members reviewed some policies and procedures as well as some statistics about rescues made. Right after the presentation was done, interior members then with all their gear, searched a specially built room and located a training dummy. Teams of two worked together with quick work and communication were able to make successful saves in a matter of minutes. Exterior members were able to assist the operations with rehabilitation and cleanup as well as refilling the bottles that our members use for air.
