Tuesday afternoon the Ancram Fire Company was asked to assist the Patterson Fire Department help a horse that had fallen by moving it to shelter for treatment and comfort. Ancram members responded around 1:30 in the afternoon, using straps and equipment, members were able to start the lifting process and with assistance from the Patterson Fire Department Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue Team, were able to get the horse the help it needed, the horse was moved into shelter and received treatment from a veterinarian From Millbrook Equine Vet Clinic
